Getting started
What is FitCrew?
FitCrew is a social fitness app. You track your workouts, log your food, build daily habits, and do it alongside a community — join crews, share your progress on the feed, and climb the leaderboards. The whole idea is that you train with people, not alone.
What does it cost?
FitCrew is free. Workout tracking, food logging, crews, habits and leaderboards are all free and always will be. FitCrew Pro — nutrition plans, custom macros, barcode scanning, with AI coaching on the way — is invite-only while we build it out and isn't on sale yet.
What platforms is it on?
iPhone, plus a web companion at fitcrew.fit for logging from a laptop. Android is planned.
Do I need to be experienced to use it?
No. When you sign up, a short setup asks your goal and stats and sets your calorie and macro targets for you, then suggests starter habits. Beginners and seasoned lifters both fit.
How old do I need to be?
FitCrew is for ages 13 and up.
Training
How does workout tracking work?
Log sets, reps and weight as you go, with rest timers and support for supersets. Build your own programs and load them with one tap, or freestyle a session and add exercises on the fly.
Is there an exercise library?
Yes — a full library with instructions and the muscle groups each movement targets, searchable by muscle. You can also create your own custom exercises.
Does it track personal records and progress?
Automatically. FitCrew tracks your PRs, total volume and streaks, and charts your strength and body-weight trends over time so you can see the line moving.
Nutrition
How do I log food?
Search a large food database, scan a barcode, or quick-add something you already know the numbers for. FitCrew breaks down calories and macros per meal and rolls them into a daily and weekly view.
Where do my calorie and macro targets come from?
They’re calculated from your age, height, weight, activity level and goal using the Mifflin-St Jeor formula — the same math a dietitian would start with. You can adjust them anytime.
Community
What are crews?
Crews are communities inside FitCrew — join official ones like Powerlifting, Running or the 4am Crew, or start your own private crew with friends. Every crew has its own group chat.
What social features are there?
A feed where you share workouts, PRs and photos, following and followers, leaderboards for volume and streaks, and daily habit tracking to keep everyone consistent.
Privacy & safety
Who can see my data?
You decide. You can make your account private so only approved followers see your posts, and choose exactly which parts of your profile — your PRs, your crews, your stats — are visible to others.
How does FitCrew keep the community safe?
You can report or block anyone from their post, profile or a chat message. Slurs, hate speech, threats and harassment are automatically blocked, and content that several people report is hidden pending review. Read more on the support page.
Is my data sold?
No. We don’t sell your personal data, and your detailed logs stay private unless you choose to share them.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete my account. It's permanent and erases everything. Full details are on the support page.
